ArtsSmarts has been delivered in New Brunswick's Francophone schools for the past 9 years. Over the last 4 years, over 32,000 students have accessed ArtsSmarts in 98 schools in 5 francophone school boards. In New Brunswick, ArtsSmarts is coordinated at the provincial level by the Ministry of Education in partnership with local school boards.  Funding is provided by the local school board, as well as the Ministry of Wellness, Culture and Sport, and the Ministry of Education.

ArtsSmarts contributes to the cultural and identity development of French-speaking youth in New Brunswick.  By working with artists and using the arts to explore the curriculum, ArtsSmarts projects build the autonomy and competence of French-speaking youth.
